This week marks the culmination of the semester's Advanced Typography work, which resulted in a 40+ page wayfinding identity book for the Michigan League. I enjoyed the historical and architectural research that went into it, as well as observing the building itself. I also learned more about signage materials such as metals and acrylics.
Overall, I think my book is successful in creating an updated identity for the League, using knowledge of its background to inform my designs while elevating it to modern times. I hope to be able to work on more experiential design projects in the future!
